A letter from Rebecca Waterbury, CEO

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

BatchWize™ isn’t just a company, it is a movement. BatchWize™ embodies the quality of service that we aim to provide and the mark that we hope to make in our community. 

“We get quality products to market faster and keep them there.” This is more than a cute marketing slogan, it’s how we truly feel. Working in the life science space for over 20 years has given me a unique perspective. I have seen great products never reach patients in need, and many more products undergo recalls and market withdrawals that could have been avoided. People can debate that medicine is over-prescribed, but a simple bottle of Children’s Tylenol ™ is invaluable to a mother and her sick child at 3am. I want to help companies manufacture and release products that I would feel comfortable giving to my own family. The name BatchWize stands for Quality.

As we launch this new company people have asked, “What we you focusing on?” The answer is simple, “We’re helping our customers make good products.” BatchWize is focused on: (1) lowering manufacturing costs, (2) reducing the time to it takes to get manufactured goods to market, (3) eliminating waste, (4) maintaining market access with high quality, compliant products and (5) improving process understanding through data. We are working closely with FDA regulated companies to ensure they are releasing high quality, compliant, products under a cost-effective infrastructure.

BatchWize™ started with manufacturing record review and product release but it doesn’t end there. To ensure consistent, high-quality work we designed an online training program, BatchWize Certification Training, to share skills, increase knowledge, and build community. We form mentorships and encourage our team members to be lifelong learners.    

In closing, BatchWize’s inherent value is embodied in our company philosophy. We see value in reducing the time that products sit in the warehouse. We see value in making sure that “quality” products are released to the marketplace.
